Commerce Secretary to Speak Thursday
U.S. Department of Commerce Secretary Carlos M. Gutierrez will speak Thursday, January 24, at 10:30 a.m. His topic is "Keeping our Economy Strong Through International Trade." His presentation will cover economic concerns, free trade agreements and the farm bill. Go here to learn more.

AFIA and PPFC Host Pet Food Conference
Make plans to attend the Conference On Pet Food Ingredient Quality, scheduled Tuesday, January 22. The conference is sponsored by the American Feed Industry Association and the Poultry Protein & Fat Council. The on-site registration fee is $50 (USD), which includes admission to the IPE / IFE. ShowTime Deadline is Today!
U.S. companies are eligible to participate in the U.S. Department of Commerce's ShowTime program. One-on-one appointments are available with commercial specialists to discuss export market development with your company for U.S. agricultural equipment in their respective foreign markets. The deadline to preregister is Friday, January 11.
